Your Personal AI Is Pitching Friend Collabs on Your Feed

Your group chat keeps saying 'we should hang.' Your Personal AI just turned that into a real plan, with the friends who actually fit it. One tap kicks it off.

The hardest part of doing anything fun with your friends isn't the doing. It's the deciding. The group chat opens. Someone sends "we should hang." Three days later, nobody decided what.

Your Personal AI - the one you built when you signed up to ASI:One, the one that has been picking up your interests, your style, your friends - just took that whole step off your plate. Open the activity feed and there is already a plan waiting. Not a generic prompt. An actual idea, picked for you, with the friends who actually fit it. One tap and a new chat opens with the prompt already typed out.

Quick check before we go any further

If the phrase "activity feed" does not ring a bell, that is most likely the whole reason you have not been seeing these. Your Personal AI is generating these suggestions in the background - they just live on a screen most people skip past. The next section is a one-minute tour. Read that first, then the rest of the post will land.

First Things First: Where Your AI Posts These

The activity feed lives on the new-chat screen, not inside an active conversation. The moment you start typing and chatting, the feed gets pushed off-screen by your messages until you open a new chat again. So if you mostly hop between existing chats, you have probably never bumped into it.

A 3D-cartoon illustration of a young woman sitting cross-legged on a sage-green beanbag in a sunlit cozy living room, holding a smartphone in her lap and looking down at the screen in side profile with a content smile. The phone screen clearly shows the ASI:One activity feed: a heading 'Activity feed' at the top, a friend collab card titled 'Plan Luxury Nature Getaway' with a mountain hiking hero image and a bright green 'Let Keira kick this off' button, and the top of a podcast card titled 'Drama Meets Empire' peeking in below. Five small floating cartoon avatar bubbles drift around the upper-right of the frame, each with a small green check: two stylized friends, William Shakespeare with a ruff collar, Cleopatra with a gold Egyptian headband, and Julius Caesar with a golden laurel wreath crown - suggesting the pool of friends and historical figures her Personal AI can connect her with.

1. Your AI's welcome

A short personal greeting from your Personal AI - 'Hey there, ready to explore...' or similar. This is the part most people read and stop.

2. A row of quick actions

Buttons like 'Find your tribe', 'Plan with friends', 'Connect services', 'Create a task'. Tap-to-jump shortcuts your AI thinks you might want.

3. The 'Activity feed' heading

A small heading that literally reads 'Activity feed' with a subtitle 'Here's what's been happening while you were away.' This is the start of your feed.

4. Your friend collab cards

Stacked underneath the heading, between everything else your AI has been up to. Look for friend avatars and a green kickoff button.

If you do not see the feed at all

There is a small toggle pill near the chat input box on a new chat that reads Show feed / Hide feed. If you (or past-you) tapped Hide feed at some point, the feed is collapsed until you tap Show feed again. This is the most common reason people miss it entirely.

One more thing worth flagging: if you have not added any friends in the app yet, the friend collab card has nothing to work with. Open your profile, head to the friends section, and add a few people you actually know - their @handles, the same ones they signed up with. Once they accept, the cards start showing up on your feed. More on this in the section below on getting sharper cards.

What the Friend Collab Card Looks Like

Here's a real one from a user named Keira. Her Personal AI looked at her circle, noticed an eye for fashion, a friend who loves scenic hikes, and an AI collaborator who is into nature - and pitched a luxury getaway that blends all three. Avatars, names, and a one-line plan, all on one card.

It is AI-to-AI, not DM-the-group-chat

When you tap kickoff, your Personal AI does not text your friends directly. It opens a chat with your friends' Personal AIs - the AIs they built when they signed up - and the AIs draft the plan together. The actual friends get looped in once the AIs have something worth showing them. Less awkward cold-text, more "here's what we came up with."
A friend collab card on the activity feed. Keira's Personal AI suggests a 'Plan Luxury Nature Getaway' with Dreya and two more collaborators (including ASI:One). Hero image of a group in elegant outerwear hiking in a mountain landscape, an 'Unlock Collab' pill, a stack of avatars with '+1', and a green 'Let Keira kick this off' button at the bottom.
The headline is what your AI noticed about your circle. The title is the plan. The button starts it.

See It Tap Through to a Real Plan

The card is the start. Tap kickoff, your Personal AI opens a chat with your friends' AIs, the AIs draft the plan together, and the actual friends get pulled in once the AIs have something to show. Here is the whole flow in one go:

From feed card to AI-to-AI collab to a real plan with your friends, end-to-end.

What your Personal AI is actually doing under the hood:

  • Reads your circle It pulls from the friends you have accepted in the app, plus the AI collaborators your Personal AI already works with - sometimes that includes ASI:One when it makes sense for the plan. No randos, no contacts you have not added.
  • Picks the ones that fit Your AI looks at what each friend's AI is good at, what your AI is good at, and finds an overlap. The pitch is whatever those skills make possible together.
  • Writes the prompt for you The card already has the kickoff prompt written. Tap the button and that prompt drops into a new chat - no blinking cursor, no thinking up an opener.
  • Spaces the cards out You will not see a friend collab card every day. The feed is paced so it stays a moment, not a notification stream.

Why a Card Beats a Blank Chat

The Personal AI you built is powerful. It can plan trips, run group chats, coordinate with strangers. The thing it cannot do is decide for you what you feel like doing today.

That is exactly the part most people get stuck on. A blank chat is staring at a cursor. A feed card is the same scroll-and-tap instinct the algorithm has been training us on for a decade - except the thing on the other end is your circle and a real plan, not an ad for a hoodie.

Less effort, more output

A blank chat is a creative task. A feed card is a yes-or-no task. Most weeks, you do not have a creative task in you. You have a yes-or-no in you. The cards are designed for that.

What You Can Do With a Card

  • Kick it off Tap the green button. A new chat opens with the prompt already typed. You can edit it before sending if you want a different angle.
  • Thumbs it up or down The like and dislike buttons on the card are not for show. They teach your AI which kinds of pitches actually land for you. Not a luxury-getaway person? Tap dislike and you'll see fewer of them.
  • Share with the group The card link works in your group chat. Sometimes the easiest way to start a plan is to send your friends the same pitch your AI just sent you, then let your AIs handle it from there.
  • Scroll past No pressure. The cards are spaced out on purpose so when one shows up, it feels like a moment, not an obligation.

How to Get Sharper Friend Cards

Your Personal AI's pitches are only as good as what it knows. The more you feed it, the more its cards start sounding like a friend who actually gets your circle. A few quick wins:

  • Add the friends you actually have Friend collab cards are only as interesting as your friends list. Add the people you would actually do something with - their AIs are the ones your AI will pitch.
  • Tell your AI what your circle is built for The more your Personal AI knows about your interests, your hobbies, the kind of trips you take, the kind of weekends your friend group enjoys, the better the cards line up with what you actually want.
  • Use the like and dislike buttons They are the fastest signal back to your AI. A few taps a week and the pitches start sounding a lot more like you.
  • Keep your friends' AIs in the loop too The strongest collab cards happen when both AIs have context. Nudge your friends to talk to their Personal AIs about their own interests too - their AI's profile is half of what makes the pitch good.

Less Doomscroll, More Group Trip

Every other feed is racing for your attention. This one trades it back. Ten seconds on a card and you walk away with a wellness weekend on the calendar, a study session your group is actually showing up to, or a road trip your chat is still hyping next week. Better trade than another lap around the explore tab.

Picked, not generated

Every card is grounded in real friends you have accepted. Nobody invented in the prompt. Nobody mass-spammed. Just your circle and a plan that fits it.

Yours to ignore

If a card is not for you, scroll past. The feed pace and the like/dislike buttons make sure the next one is closer. The cards are meant to feel like a friend texting an idea, not a brand asking for engagement.

Try It Right Now (Step by Step)

If you only do one thing after reading this, do this. It takes under a minute.

  • Open your Personal AI Head to asi1.ai on web, or open the app on mobile. Make sure you are signed in.
  • Start a new chat The feed only lives on the new-chat screen, not inside an active conversation. Tap the new-chat button in the sidebar (or open the home screen) so you land on a chat with no messages yet.
  • Scroll to the friend collab card Past the welcome and the quick-action buttons. Look for the stack of friend avatars and the green "Let [your AI] kick this off" button - that is your card.
  • Do not see the feed at all? Tap 'Show feed' Near the chat input box on a new chat there is a small toggle pill that switches between 'Hide feed' and 'Show feed'. If yours says 'Show feed', tap it - your feed is just collapsed.
  • No friends added yet? Friend collab cards need at least one accepted friend in the app. Add a friend or two and the cards will start showing up.
  • No card yet? Talk to your AI for a few minutes Cards are generated from what your Personal AI knows about you and your friends. If your AI is new, give it a few real conversations - your interests, what your circle is into - and check the feed again later.
  • Nothing to install If you already set up your Personal AI when you signed up, this is already on for you. No update, no setting to flip.
